The Customizer has an option of the display mode of a Featured Image: separately or in the overlay mode.
Sortable sections of the Front Page
The static front page (as a Homepage must be assigned a static page) has 4 sections: the content of the static page itself, the section of recent blog posts, the section of the featured post and the section of recent portfolio type posts. By the Customizer, you can to sort these sections and set their show or hide.
For the content of the page which assigned as front-page, you can choose from two layout options. You can also select the featured post using the tag and then set a few options to display the selected post.
This Theme is ready to use most of the main blocks of the new blocks editor from WordPress 5.x.
Image Post, Aside Post, Audio Post, Video Post, Quote and Standard. Using the Aside format you can create adv-banners among the grid of your posts. Audio post and quote can be with the cover image.
You can show the sidebar on a posts page, on a single post or page. You can show the sidebar on the right or left or not show it anywhere. There is an additional customizable area for widgets at the bottom of the page.
Additional Options for Single Post And Page
There are additional options for pages and single posts. For example, for a page, you can hide the page title (default template only). For standard posts there is an option of the position of the display of the Featured Image: it can be shown above the title or below it, in full height or cropped, or even hide when displaying a single post.
Display mode of a Featured Image
There is an option of a way to display the title of a single post and page: you can make a title over on the featured image or show the featured image separately or hide it for selected posts.
Display options of a Site Logo
There is an option to change the display size of the site logo image, as well as the indentation around it.
In the footer of your site, you can show a social menu as icons or an additional menu for the footer.
