Get Started

After the successful theme purchase, you will receive an email including your individual download link. With this link, you can download the Theme folder (zip file). Also you can find the download link on the your account page.

Note please:
– A zipped file of the theme looks like this This is the file that you should upload as theme install pack via the WordPress admin panel or another way.
– An archive file which contains additional material of the theme (this can be documentation, pictures, etc.) so looks like this / It doesn’t need to be uploaded. You can unzip it and use the files you find there.

Installation via the WordPress admin panel

After downloading the theme zip file to your local computer, please go to Appearance > Themes in your WordPress admin panel and click the Install button at the top of the page. Now click the Upload Theme button and upload the theme zip file from your computer. You can activate the theme by hovering over the preview image, here you will see the Activate button.

Installation via FTP

Alternatively, you can also install the theme directly to your server with a FTP client (e.g. Filezilla). Just drop the unzipped theme folder into your …/wp-content/themes/ folder. Now you can see the uploaded theme in your WordPress admin panel under Appearance > Themes > Available Themes. From there you can activate the theme.

One Click Demo Import

Note please: If you use this method of installation, then demo content will be imported to your site so if you already have content on your site then it is not the recommended way and you need to do the installation manually.

After activating the theme, you can install the demo version of the theme in one click. To do this, first you need to install the plugin One Click Demo Import.

To do this, go to WP Dashboard > Plugins > Add New. Enter a plugin name in the search box. Press the Install Now button.

After successful installation and activation of the plugin, go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Import Demo Data. Now you can choose one of the demo versions of the theme and install it by button Import.

The theme has two menu locations: Primary (on the top bar) and Social Links Menu (in the footer).

You can create menus in WordPress by clicking Appearance > Menus in your WordPress admin area. Click on create a new menu to create a new menu (eg. Main Menu). Add the menu items from the left panels (You can select Pages or Categories).

Scroll down to the bottom where Theme locations and check Primary.

To create a Social Links menu item (it’s works with our themes), use the tab Links (Edit Menus), example:

Front Page Setup

Create a new by going to Pages > Add New. Give your page a name (Title).

Publish your page. (Press Publish / Save)

Also, you need to create an empty page which will be Posts Page (call it a Blog, for example).

Next, go to Settings > Reading. Set A static page for Front page displays.

Now you can to set a created static page (1) as the front page (2) of the website and set a created posts page (Blog).

Sections Settings

Once you have created a static front page you can manage the sections Front page. To manage sections Front Page in the Customizer (Admin Menu: Appearance > Customize) there are Front Page Sections.

Settings each section is carried out in Front Page Sections. The visibility and order of sections you can customize in the Visibility & Sorting panel.

Remember to click Save&Publish after you have made changes.

Theme Customizer

The Leanex WordPress theme includes tons of easy to use options to customize the design of your site. Leanex uses only native WordPress functions, so you should be familiar with the way the Customizer looks and works.

Navigate to Appearance > Customize to make changes to the design of your website.

Theme Widgets

This theme includes a widgetized sidebar, footer and Front Page area. To add widgets, go to Appearance > Widgets and drag available widgets.

This Theme includes Custom Widgets someone of them like the element on the Front Page.

Footer Widgets Area

Setting the number of widget areas (columns) in the footer is done in the Customizer. First, set the number of widget areas there, then go to Appearance > Widgets to place widgets.

Portfolio Set Up

Leanex theme supports free portfolio plugin is a Portfolio Post Type By Devin Price. You can install and activate the plugin from the plugins repository.

To display the portfolio section on the front page, go to Customize > Front Page Order: check Portfolio Section.

Portfolio Items edit

Upload the project images to the main content editing field. Enter a work description of the portfolio item in the Excerpt field. (1)

You can enter project meta information (such as date, your role, camera type) by adding Custom Fields. (2)
