I am happy to represent you a new theme which I called Imagery. This theme is built on the new base that I compiled end 2017 and it embodies not only innovations of WordPress version 4.7 and later (till 4.9.2) but also new techniques of web development in total.
By the way, concerning our Road Map on 2018… I intend to update substantially the bundle of our WordPress themes. And what is more, I will make a major update of all themes which were released before. Some of the previous themes would be retired, for example, Planum, Rectangulum, Oprum, Corpobox. They have become outdated morally and technically. In addition, this year I am planning to add the function of auto-update for my premium themes so that our customers have opportunities to update them in one click timely.
Let’s return to the review of my newest WordPress theme Imagery. It is a minimalistic theme where images and words are front and centred featured. If you have something to tell or to display, or even either both, then this theme might be exactly the one that you are looking for. Imagery WordPress theme created for bloggers, designers, illustrators and photographers.
Imagery offers an elegant post grid where you can choose the number of columns (two or three). You have also an opportunity to customize the font and its size for all elements. You might choose a color, background image, header video/image as well. With Imagery you can upload a logo image, a background image for the entire site and lots of other things to create an awesome professional designed website.
Among the remarkable features of the theme:
- sortable front-page sections in the Customizer
- separate selection of the number of columns for blog entries and for portfolio entries
- attachment page, which supports the display of content PDF files and meta-info of a photos
- Portfolio ready with plugin Portfolio Post Type by Devin Price
- support for the Jetpack Infinite Scroll module
- switching between the prepared color scheme: light and dark mode
In addition, Imagery theme has the option to always display post preview titles as an overlay on tiles in the grid, editor styles, support for translations, and much more.
I will be really grateful if you leave your feedback about your experience of using this theme or report errors and bugs. Thank you!
The theme has been submitted to the WordPress.org Theme Directory and is awaiting review and publication in the catalog. I hope it would appear this spring.
